DRUM TYPE MAGNETIC SEPARATOR

Magnetic separator modules, rated for 65 LPM to 1000 LPM flow of water based emulsion. Higher flows can be handled by using multiples of magnetic separators in parallel.

Dirty fluid is passed through the trougyh around the magnetic drum. Magnetic filed picks-up the magnetic particles and are attached to fins of the drum. magnetic drum is rotaed slowly to dump the attached particles on the scraper and further to the bin provided.

PERFORMANCE

GFSPL magnetic separators show an effeciency of 85 to 90% for magnetic particles produced by grinding machines, These magnetic separators effectively handle particles form 10 microns to 3 mm.

ADVANTAGES AND LIMITATIONS

Finned construction use of non-magnetic shaft and trough improves the separation efficency.

Close contoured scraping action allows removal of fine particles as well as chips form the drum surface.
