| Paper band filter is simplest, automatic, positive versatile filter, It uses gravitational head for filtration paper band filter is a horizontally placed through shaped grill designed to accept the weight of fluid and other components on top. The entire operation is additional filter paper roll mounting, safety float, end of paper indication, additional drio zone are provided if required. Performance
Normally a paper band filter is used for low viscosity fluid. Its performance greatly depends on site conditons It typically shows clarity level of 30 mg/lit on course grinding operation.
ADVANTAGES AND LIMITATIONS.
| • | It is a very versatile system It can be designed to serve as small units as well as centralized large systems. |
| • | It is completely automatic. |
| • | It is simple to opearte and maintain. |
| • | Its performance depends on dirt and fuild to be handled. It performs better for granular dirt. However in some cases it is used for for other types of dirt. |
| • | It is not effective for high quantities of dirt and for higher viscosity fluid. |
